Who Wants To Live Forever?

(Psalm 37:11) 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. . .

Does that sound boring?

One of my favorite childhood memories happened when playing with my family and a lot of my cousins.

They were various ages, boys and girls and from  lots of different families. We just sort of hung around a little at first eyeing each other, trying to think of what we could get into...then someone would say "let's play hide and seek... or kick the can...or tell stories or chase our older cousins...which we did to their complete distraction or till they told on us...it was great...running in the cool grass...mostly barefoot...on those hot summer
Memories of playing with my cousins and family
evenings...sweating...breathless...screaming with laughter...and I have recollection of adventure...and no sense of time...no idea how late it was when the parents would start getting ready to go home...
Day or night time just didn't matter

the stars and moon had been out for quite a while when they would call us in...I remember how we balked...if given a choice we would never come in till we had to eat or till we dropped.

We were so alive...so full of fun and how we hated it to end. When I think of paradise those are the things I think of, no pain, no sorrow, no tears...doing something that is screamingly great fun and you never have to come in...never have to die..

(Revelation 21:3, 4) 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. . .
